I’m Nicolás Cruz, also known professionally as Nicko DC, a music producer, recording and mixing engineer, arranger and musician. Since 2020, I’ve developed my work between Colombia and Spain, collaborating with independent artists across production, recording, arrangement, vocal production and mixing.

My approach combines the creative and technical sides of music. I’m especially interested in understanding the identity of each artist and helping shape a sound that feels personal, intentional and emotionally connected to the project.

A central part of my current sonic exploration is integrating traditional and culturally rooted music into contemporary production. I’m interested in exploring how different rhythms and musical languages can coexist with modern sounds, new textures and current production techniques without losing their identity or cultural richness. My goal is to create music that feels current while still carrying the character, identity and depth of the influences behind it.

Today, I continue developing my career in Spain, working across music production, recording, mixing and live sound.

For me, music is ultimately about creating human connections.
